Description
This 2009 vintage is a 12 year old anCnoc, bottled in 2021, an outturn of 7,920 bottles, one of the distillery's annual vintage releases. Knockdhu, at Knock, in Banffshire, adopted the anCnoc name so as not to be confused with Knockando.
Inver House restarted production in 1989. Matured in ex-Bourbon over twelve years, the oak rounds the fresh malt and builds vanilla and light toffee.
Bottled at 46%. The ex-Bourbon lends vanilla and coconut through its vanillin and oak lactones. The profile runs to chocolate, citrus, dried fruit, cooked fruit, fresh fruit and a malt extract note. A vintage anCnoc.
