Alizé Red Passion Liqueur

Alize Red Passion is a French fruit liqueur bottled at 16%, built on French vodka with the essence of red fruits such as raspberry, strawberry and watermelon alongside passion fruit, and a hint of cognac for depth. Its intense red colour is its signature, set against a fruity, slightly tart profile, and like the rest of the range it is made to be as visual as it is flavourful, working neat or in a mixed drink.

The nose is sweet with ripe red fruit, strawberry and raspberry, over a tropical and floral edge, the palate fruity and smooth with passion fruit and the natural sweetness of red berries, carried by a refreshing, slightly acidic lift into a long, round finish. Behind the bar it adds berry and passion fruit flavour, sweetness and a deep red colour, with just enough acidity to keep a drink from turning flat. It makes a natural base for a berry martini or a fruity mojito, and lifts a sparkling long drink with colour and fruit. Serve it well chilled, over ice or in a tall fruity serve.
