La Liqueur de Monin Cafe is a coffee liqueur from Monin, the French house at Bourges that makes syrups and liqueurs for the bar trade. It is built on real Arabica coffee extract, which gives it a characteristic depth and roasted aroma, and is bottled at 25%, aimed at classic coffee cocktails, dessert work and the refinement of hot drinks. The genuine Arabica roast is the heart of it.

The nose is expressive roasted coffee with hints of cocoa and toffee, the palate full bodied and pleasantly sweet with espresso, dark chocolate and caramel, finishing long and soft with a lingering, elegant coffee bitterness. Behind the bar it brings coffee body, roast and sweetness with a real bitter edge, which makes it a natural in an Espresso Martini, a Black Russian or a White Coffee Negroni, and a quick lift for a latte, cappuccino or hot chocolate. Pour it into a shaken coffee cocktail, stir it into a coffee drink, or use it to add roast and depth to a dessert serve.
