La Liqueur de Monin WeiSer Kakao is a white chocolate liqueur from Monin, the French house at Bourges that makes syrups and liqueurs for the bar trade. It captures the mild, creamy flavour of white chocolate in liquid form, bottled at 20%, its silky texture and balanced sweetness aimed squarely at modern bar and dessert work. The buttery, chocolaty white cocoa character is the signature.
The nose is mild vanilla, white chocolate, cream and a hint of caramel, the palate creamy and smooth with intense white cocoa, a light sweetness and a fine balance, finishing round, velvety and persistently sweet. Behind the bar it works as a white chocolate sweetener and body, adding cocoa richness and a smooth texture, which makes it a natural in a White Chocolate Martini, a White Russian or a creamy dessert cocktail.
