Bottega Crema di Pistacchio Cream Liqueur

Bottega is a family distillery in the Veneto, founded at Bibano in 1977 on a vine growing tradition reaching back to 1635 and known for pioneering single varietal grappa. At the heart of this liqueur are pistachio kernels grown on the slopes of Mount Etna in Sicily, processed in the traditional way after harvest and blended into a smooth, sweet cream liqueur bottled at 17%.

The nose is sweet and intense with pistachio and almond, the palate delicate and soft with pronounced pistachio over vanilla, honey and cream. As a nutty cream liqueur it lends roasted nut flavour, dairy body, a pale green colour and sweetness to a drink, which makes it a natural dessert and body ingredient. Pour it chilled over panna cotta and other desserts or over ice cream, shake it into a pistachio dessert martini, or fold it into creamy stirred serves. Treat it as a dairy product once opened, keeping it chilled and using it within a few months.
