Ilhas do Sul takes Gin Sul out into the Atlantic, to the volcanic landscapes of Cape Verde, and tries to bottle the feel of the trade winds and the islands' music. The botanical roll-call leans tropical: aromatic banana, exotic guava, fresh lime and juicy orange, all built around the classic juniper berry. It arrives as a special edition limited to 7,000 bottles worldwide, in a 500ml flask that nods to its far-flung origin.

The nose is fruity with ripe banana and guava, underlaid by citrus freshness and a juniper lift. The palate is lively and harmonious, fresh citrus leading, exotic fruit accents following, a subtle juniper base anchoring it all. The finish is long, balanced and pleasantly fresh. Pour over ice with a good tonic, a slice of lime and a twist of orange zest.
