Description

Gin Mare Capri is a limited edition built as a tribute to the Italian island, distilled in Spain on the Costa Dorada under Brown-Forman. It keeps the brand's savoury Mediterranean signature, rosemary, basil, thyme and briny Arbequina olives, but tilts the profile toward citrus with Italian lemon and bergamot. Each botanical is macerated and distilled separately in handmade copper stills, then married, which keeps every note distinct.

The nose is fresh and lively, dominated by lemon and bergamot with herbs and a hint of olive beneath. The palate is fruity and citrusy with thyme, basil and juniper threading through a gentle Mediterranean spice, before an elegant, refreshing finish of lingering lemon. Make a G&T with Mediterranean tonic and a basil sprig, or stir a Capri Negroni.
