Gin Mare Mediterranean Gin Lantern Limited Edition

Gin Mare is made by a family distillery housed in a former chapel at Vilanova i la Geltru, on the Spanish Mediterranean coast. Its signature is a savoury botanical set, Arbequina olives, rosemary, thyme and basil alongside juniper and citrus, each macerated and distilled separately before blending for a smooth, layered result. This Lantern Limited Edition arrives in a decorative bottle that doubles as a light, but the liquid inside is the same coastal classic.

The nose offers fresh rosemary and thyme with citrus and a greenish olive note. The palate is soft and complex, basil and juniper woven through Mediterranean herbs and a fine saline nuance from the olives, before a long, aromatic finish of herbal spice and citrus. Serve with a premium tonic, plenty of ice and a sprig of rosemary or a green olive to draw the savoury notes out.
