Longmorn 42 Years Old 1973 (Gordon & MacPhail)

Gordon & MacPhail of Elgin, founded 1895, long held some of the deepest Longmorn reserves. This 42 Year Old is a 1973 vintage Licensed Bottling matured in Oloroso, four decades of the rich Speyside spirit.

Forty-two years in Oloroso built deep sherried maturity, the cask's melanoidins giving dried fruit.

At 43% it shows chocolate over deep dried fruit and the worn Longmorn richness. A 1973-vintage Longmorn.
