Archives, the single-cask label of the Whiskybase collectors' database, bottles this 10 Year Old in its Birds from the Orient series, a 2012 vintage from ex-Bourbon cask 930, an outturn of 242 bottles.

Ten years in ex-Bourbon framed the young rich spirit, the cask giving vanilla and a faint coconut through its oak lactones.

At 57.4% it shows citrus, fresh fruit, old wood, vanilla and a yeasty note over Longmorn's body, undiluted. A Birds from the Orient 10.
