Description

The Whisky Mercenary, a Belgian independent, bottles this 10 Year Old, a 2009 vintage in ex-Bourbon. Miltonduff, the sweet, grassy Speyside raised on the grounds of Pluscarden Abbey and known as a Ballantine's workhorse.

Ten years in a bourbon barrel brought balance, lignin-derived vanilla and a growing fruity-ester sweetness folding into Miltonduff's light spirit.

At 49.5% it shows red apple, pear and soft vanilla, undiluted. A Whisky Mercenary 10.
