Description

That Boutique-y Whisky Company, known for its comic-strip labels, bottled this Miltonduff as Batch 1, a no-age-statement ex-Bourbon single malt, an outturn of 122. Miltonduff, the sweet, grassy Speyside raised on the grounds of Pluscarden Abbey and known as a Ballantine's workhorse.

Ex-Bourbon maturation framed the soft, floral character, the low-tannin oak lending vanilla and a little honey as oxidation slowly began.

At 51.4% it shows apple, pear and vanilla, undiluted. A Boutique-y Batch 1.
