Description

From Signatory Vintage, this 10 Year Old draws on a 2009 vintage in ex-Bourbon, cask 701591, bottled at natural colour and cask strength, a release of 242 bottles. Miltonduff, the floral Speyside distilled where Pluscarden Abbey's old meal mill once stood, long a heart of Ballantine's.

Ten years in a bourbon barrel brought balance, lignin-derived vanilla and a growing fruity-ester sweetness folding into the sweet, floral distillate.

At 61.2% it shows vivid apple, pear and vanilla, undiluted. A natural-colour cask strength 10.
