Description

Duncan Taylor, the Huntly independent founded in 1938 with one of Scotland's deepest cask inventories. This Octave 10 Year Old is a 2011 vintage finished in a small Oloroso octave, cask 8330266, a release of 97 bottles. Miltonduff, a light, floral Speyside from near Elgin, its spirit long destined for the Ballantine's blend.

Ten years finished in a small Oloroso octave wrapped the grassy, floral make in concentrated dried fruit, the little cask's melanoidins giving raisin and date fast.

At 55.2% it shows sherried dried fruit over the floral body, undiluted. An Octave 10.
