Description

Duncan Taylor, the Huntly independent founded in 1938 with one of Scotland's deepest cask inventories. This Octave 9 Year Old is a 2008 vintage finished in a small Oloroso octave cask, number 8316014, an outturn of 112. Miltonduff, the floral Speyside distilled where Pluscarden Abbey's old meal mill once stood, long a heart of Ballantine's.

A small Oloroso octave packed dried fruit into Miltonduff's light spirit across nine years, melanoidins and tight oak contact giving raisin quickly.

At 52.2% it shows sherried dried fruit over the floral body, undiluted. An Octave 9.
