Description

From Douglas Laing's Provenance range, this 10 Year Old comes from a 2009 ex-Bourbon cask, number DL 14008, an outturn of 424 bottles. Miltonduff, the sweet, grassy Speyside raised on the grounds of Pluscarden Abbey and known as a Ballantine's workhorse.

By ten years the ex-Bourbon cask had integrated with the soft, floral character, caramelised hemicellulose lending toffee alongside the vanilla.

At 46% it shows orchard fruit, pear and vanilla. A Provenance 10.
