Description

Berry Bros & Rudd, the London merchant trading since 1698. This 11 Year Old draws on a 2007 vintage in ex-Bourbon, cask 341. Miltonduff, the sweet, grassy Speyside raised on the grounds of Pluscarden Abbey and known as a Ballantine's workhorse.

Eleven years in a bourbon barrel brought balance, lignin-derived vanilla and a growing fruity-ester sweetness folding into the fresh, floral character.

At 55.8% it shows apple, pear and vanilla, undiluted. A 2007 single cask 11.
