Description

Alistair Walker, of the family behind BenRiach and GlenDronach, runs the Infrequent Flyers range. This 12 Year Old draws on a 2009 vintage matured in a Sauternes cask, number 6342, a release of 304 bottles. Miltonduff, the fresh, floral Speyside distilled beside Pluscarden Abbey near Elgin and long bound for the Ballantine's blend.

Twelve years in a Sauternes cask gave the floral spirit honeyed apricot and a botrytis sweetness from the dessert wine.

At 58.6% it shows honeyed apricot over the floral body, undiluted. An Infrequent Flyers 12.
