Description

This 2000 vintage is a 14 year old anCnoc, bottled in 2014 for Germany, one of the distillery's annual vintage releases. Knockdhu, at Knock, in Banffshire, adopted the anCnoc name so as not to be confused with Knockando.

It has run under Inver House since 1989. Fourteen years in ex-Bourbon rounds the spirit, the wood drawing out vanilla and soft oak spice.

Bottled at 46%. Vanillin from the ex-Bourbon reads as vanilla, oak lactones as coconut. The recorded note is bright citrus over the fresh, fruity malt. A vintage anCnoc.
