Description

That Boutique-y Whisky Company dresses its small-batch releases in comic-strip labels, a playful arm of the Atom group. This 6 year old Williamson was bottled in 2017. Bottled as Williamson because it is teaspooned, a Laphroaig cask with a spoonful of another malt stirred in, which makes it legally a blended malt. The name honours Bessie Williamson, the first woman to own and run a Scotch distillery.

Held in ex-Bourbon for 6 years, the oak settles the medicinal Islay spirit.

Bottled at cask strength, 50.2%, the bourbon oak lends vanilla. Seaweed, smoke and iodine in the Laphroaig manner.
