Williamson 2011 AM (Asta Morris) (Cask #AM 083)

Asta Morris is the single-cask house of Belgian bottler Bert Bruyneel. Distilled in 2011 and bottled in 2021, this 10 year old Williamson, from cask AM 083 followed. Williamson is teaspooned Laphroaig: a Laphroaig cask given a token spoonful of another malt, which bars the distillery name and makes it a blended malt. The name honours Bessie Williamson, Laphroaig's owner from 1954 and the first woman to run a Scotch distillery.

At its natural 59.9%, vanilla and light oak from the ex-Bourbon. On the palate, a fragrant note.
