Citrus and dried orange peel carry this one, bright and slightly exotic, with white pepper warming the juniper at its heart. The Distiller’s Cut bottling pushes the strength to 43% for extra clout. Whitley Neill’s South African inspiration still lingers in its faintly wild edge.

Description
Johnny Neill swapped finance for the family spirits trade in 2004, launching Whitley Neill with a recipe inspired by a trip to South Africa. The classic Dry Gin built its name on citrus and dried orange peel, with the baobab tree marking each label. This Distiller's Cut keeps that citrus-forward character and bottles it at a fuller 43% for a little more presence in the glass.
The nose is fruity and softly sweet, juniper laced with coriander and liquorice. The palate is fresh and lively, lemon and a dusting of white pepper playing against a firm juniper core. The finish is long and clean. A natural partner for tonic with an orange wheel, or stirred into a punchy citrus cocktail.
