Ripe quince brings a tart-sweet fruitiness that folds neatly into juniper, citrus peel and a fine background spice. From Whitley Neill, a London house with roots back to 1762, this is a fruit gin that keeps its gin bones, never letting the orchard fruit run the show. Soft, fresh and balanced.

Description
Whitley Neill trace their distilling line back to 1762, and this bottling takes their classic London Dry style and gives it an elegant fruity depth through quince, an ancient cultivated fruit with a subtly tart, honeyed character. The distillation is careful and clarity-minded: the quince is always integrated rather than dominant, blending with juniper, citrus peel and selected botanicals so the typical gin elements stay firmly in place. At 41.3%, it reads expressive yet soft and approachable.
The nose is ripe quince, juniper, fine citrus and a subtle spice. The palate offers a gentle fruity sweetness of quince carried by juniper, citrus peel and balanced spice, finishing long, soft and fruity with an elegant freshness. Serve in a gin and tonic with a neutral or lightly floral tonic, garnished with apple slices and a twist of lemon.
