Uitvlugt Ron de Jeremy Holy Wood 22 YO Cognac Barrel is a single cask Demerara from the closed Uitvlugt estate, bottled cask strength by One Eyed Spirit under the Ron de Jeremy label and finished in a cognac barrel. At twenty-two years from a lost estate, this is a scarce and characterful old Guyana rum given an extra layer from French brandy wood.

Bottled at 48.3%, the rum is deep and aromatic. The nose draws together barrel wood, prunes, a floral lift and a saddle-leather note, while the palate brings prunes, butterscotch, wood and a toasted edge. The finish is roasted and barrel-driven with real strength behind it. The cognac cask adds a rounded, brandied richness that suits the refined Uitvlugt base, layering dark fruit and leather over the spirit. This is a generous, full-proof old Demerara, the kind of long-aged single cask that rewards slow attention in the glass.
