Ripe strawberries spill over a base of red tea from Sikkim, one of the highest tea regions on earth, with juniper and soft florals holding it together. Mellow, faintly sweet and blush-pink in the glass, it leans summery without losing its gin spine. A warm-weather pour through and through.

Description
Sikkim Fraise comes from Sibbaris Privee in Spain and starts somewhere unusual: a gin built on red tea grown in Sikkim, high in the Himalayan foothills. Onto that tea-tinged base go ripe strawberries and floral nuances, giving the spirit its delicate rose colour and a fruit-forward character that still keeps classic juniper in view.
The nose is all fresh strawberry, with floral lift and a faintly spicy juniper note. The palate is soft and harmonious, intense strawberry fruit folded around subtle herbal and citrus tones, finishing long, mild and gently sweet. At 40% it was made for a summer G&T with a light or floral tonic and a fresh strawberry to garnish.
