Sangre de Vida Corazón Blanco Tequila

Sangre de Vida Corazón is a 100% Blue Weber blanco presented in an anatomically shaped glass heart, a nod to El Corazón, card number 27 of the Mexican lotería. It is produced at the Jalisco distillery behind La Cofradía and Casa Noble, where the agave hearts are slow roasted in masonry brick ovens, the centuries old method that gives a clean cooked agave sweetness without smoke.

After roasting the piñas are cooled, crushed and pressed to a sweet mosto that ferments for five days and is then distilled three times, with the final run done in small stills under higher heat. The result is a bright, fruit forward blanco: a bouquet of banana, citrus, green pepper and white blossom, with lightly peppery agave and a touch of earthy minerality carrying the finish. Bottled at 40%.
