The name Junenmyo references a ten-year cycle in Japanese tradition, and the Noir designation distinguishes this variant within the series. No bottling year is recorded, and the expression carries no age statement, bottled at 46% from Ex-Bourbon-matured stock.

Ex-Bourbon casks provide the usual vanilla, caramel and lightly toasted wood framework. The Saburomaru distillery is best known for its heavily peated house style and ZEMON cast metal pot still, and that character typically carries through into blended expressions, softened and integrated by the cask.
