Mediterranean herbs and bright citrus peel set the tone, with myrtle and a gentle warmth of ginger threading through. Made by a family distillery and named for a sunset over Panarea in the Aeolian Islands, it is fruity, floral and finely spiced. Soft and complex, with an aromatic, lightly peppery tail.

Description
Panarea is one of the smallest of the Aeolian Islands, a scatter of white houses off the Sicilian coast, and this gin takes its name from the colour of its evening sky. Made by a family-run distillery, it builds on a high-quality juniper spirit refined with Mediterranean and exotic botanicals: citrus fruits, native myrtle, coriander, ginger and a handful of aromatic spices. Careful maceration coaxes the essential oils out slowly, giving a clear spirit with real finesse.
The nose is fresh and Mediterranean, citrus and juniper laced with herbs and a quiet spice. The palate is soft and layered, lemon and orange peel up front, fine herbal spice in the middle, a gentle ginger glow toward the back. It finishes long and aromatic, lightly spiced with a fruity freshness. Serve with a Mediterranean tonic and a twist of lemon, or stir it into a Negroni for an Italian accent.
