SéRum is a small batch Panama label from Panamá Province, and this Seasons Wet limited edition draws on the country's soft, vanilla led Spanish style. The base is molasses and light, with the cask providing the gentle character over a clean spirit.

From a 2005 vintage the profile is mellow and approachable. Tropical fruit, vanilla and a woody note open the nose, leading into a mild, gently sweet palate with dried fruit, before a light tropical fruit finish. It is a soft, easygoing ron in the typical Panama mould, undemanding and smooth rather than deep or structured. At 40% it sits firmly in everyday sipping territory, with the sugar status undeclared and the character on the mild, lightly sweet side. A comfortable, fruit tinged pour for drinkers who like the relaxed, approachable end of Panama ron.
