Panama Province SeRum Mamie is a flavoured, dessert leaning rum built on a Panamanian molasses base and bottled at an easy 40%. Panama makes soft, vanilla driven spirit, and this pushes that softness firmly toward the sweet end, presenting as a rounded, confectionery style pour rather than a dry, barrel forward rum.

The nose is pure dessert, with toffee, caramel and a buttered popcorn note, while the palate stays sweet and syrupy with nutty depth and a lift of allspice. The finish carries on sweet and nutty with more toffee. This is unapologetically a sweet rum, and it is honest about it, sitting comfortably alongside the better known Spanish style dessert pours.
