A vintage bottling of Paddy Old Irish Whiskey from the days of the Cork Distilleries Company, the historic maker of the brand before production consolidated at the modern Midleton distillery in East Cork. This 750ml import shows Paddy in its older guise, a soft triple distilled blend of pot still, malt and grain.
Matured in ex-bourbon oak, it keeps the gentle Cork character, vanilla and orchard fruit with a light baking spice, smooth and unpeated at 40%. Lighter than its Redbreast and Powers stablemates, it is a piece of Cork blending history now sought for its age rather than its strength.
