Description
A limited single pot still bottling released to mark the centenary of Paddy, the softer Cork blend historically made by the Cork Distilleries Company and now produced at the Midleton distillery in East Cork. Bottled at 7 years old for a commemorative event, it steps away from the everyday blend into pure pot still whiskey, triple distilled from malted and unmalted barley.
Seven years in ex-bourbon American oak give vanilla and a creamy weight, while the unmalted barley brings Ireland's signature pot still character, green apple, baking spice and a peppery, oily texture. Bottled at 43%, it is a characterful nod to Paddy's long Cork history rather than a routine release.
