Olmeca Tequila Altos Plata

Olmeca Altos Plata is the unaged blanco in the Altos range from Olmeca, a 100% Blue Weber tequila produced in Jalisco and part of the Pernod Ricard portfolio. As a plata it sees no cask time and is bottled at drinking strength directly after distillation, which keeps the agave and the still's hand in clear view.

Grown in the highlands of Los Altos, where iron rich red clay tends toward sweeter, fruitier agave, it shows fine notes of agave and citrus with a touch of pepper and a quiet, earthy undercurrent. The result is light footed yet defined, equally suited to sipping neat or building cocktails. Bottled at 38%, it is a clean, agave forward highland blanco that leans on freshness and pepper rather than weight.
