Description

From Langside Distillers' Hepburn's Choice range, this young 7 Year Old is a 2009 vintage matured in Oloroso, an outturn of 429 bottles. Miltonduff, the floral Speyside malt distilled near Pluscarden Abbey and long destined for Ballantine's.

Across seven years the Oloroso butt loaded the sweet, floral distillate with dried fruit and a nutty edge, melanoidins over a still-fresh core.

At 46% it shows sherried dried fruit over the young floral body. A Hepburn's Choice 7.
