Description

Meadowside Blending bottles this young 6 Year Old in its Maltman range, a 2008 vintage from ex-Bourbon cask 266, a release of 420 bottles. Miltonduff, the sweet, grassy Speyside raised on the grounds of Pluscarden Abbey and known as a Ballantine's workhorse.

Still young at six years, the delicate Speyside make took fast surface extraction from the ex-Bourbon oak, sweet cereal and vanilla to the fore.

At 50% it shows fresh apple, pear and vanilla, undiluted. A Maltman 6.
