Description

From the Vintage Malt Whisky Company's Cooper's Choice range, this 10 Year Old draws on a 2011 vintage in ex-Bourbon, cask 800531, 228 bottles filled. Miltonduff, the delicate Speyside drawn from the abbey-blessed Black Burn and long bound for Ballantine's.

By ten years the ex-Bourbon cask had integrated with the grassy, floral make, caramelised hemicellulose lending toffee alongside the vanilla.

At 56.5% it shows chocolate, a fragrant lift, new wood and vanilla, undiluted. A Cooper's Choice 10.
