Alistair Walker, of the family behind BenRiach and GlenDronach, runs the Infrequent Flyers range. This 10 Year Old is a 2009 ex-Bourbon single cask, number 701585, a release of 236 bottles. Miltonduff, the fresh, floral Speyside distilled beside Pluscarden Abbey near Elgin and long bound for the Ballantine's blend.

Ten years in a bourbon barrel brought balance, lignin-derived vanilla and a growing fruity-ester sweetness folding into the floral spirit.

At 58.5% it shows a husky note over apple, pear and vanilla, undiluted. An Infrequent Flyers 10.
