Loch Lomond The Open 2025

This Oloroso Sherry Cask is The Open Official Spirit, bottled by the Loch Lomond Group as official spirit of golf's Open Championship. A sherried Loch Lomond single malt.

Maturation in Oloroso lends dried fruit, the cask's melanoidins giving fig and raisin and its tannins a polished grip, with a measure of peated malt adding smoke.

At 40% it shows a coal-gas edge, dried and fresh fruit, hay, a kippery smoke and leather over the sherried base. A sherried Open malt.
