This 54 Year Old, distilled in 1967, is among the oldest and rarest Loch Lomonds ever released, an outturn of just 55 bottles at cask strength. Spirit from the distillery's second year, more than half a century in the making.

Fifty-four years in American oak is an extraordinary span for a light spirit; only the gentle, low-tannin oak let it survive without drying out, slow oxidation building deep fruit while the angel's share claimed the great majority of the cask.

At 42.1% it shows the profound, mellow maturity of more than five decades, the spirit worn to silk and the strength gently eased by the years. An exceptionally rare 1967 Loch Lomond.
