Loch Lomond 23 Years Old 1974

This 23 Year Old, a 1974 vintage, is an older Single Highland Malt bottling of Loch Lomond, an outturn of 500 bottles from the distillery's early years.

Twenty-three years in ex-Bourbon matured the light spirit, the low-tannin oak lending vanilla while slow oxidation built soft fruit and the angel's share eased the strength.

At 40% it shows fresh fruit, honey, a nutty note and vanilla over a gentle maturity. An older 1974 Loch Lomond.
