Linkwood 40 Years Old 1969 (G&M)

The Urquhart family's Gordon & MacPhail has bottled from Elgin since 1895, a Speyside institution. This bottling is a 40 year old Linkwood, laid down in 1969 and drawn off in 2009.

Forty years in a refill bourbon cask keep its light, honeyed Speyside spirit bright.

Bottled at 43%, the bourbon cask lends vanilla and light spice. Pear, apple and cut grass over a honeyed base.
