Description

The Urquhart family's Gordon & MacPhail has bottled from Elgin since 1895, a Speyside institution. The cask was filled in 1990 and bottled in 2024, a 33 year old Linkwood, from cask 6965, from the Connoisseurs Choice range.

Thirty-three years in ex-Bourbon lend a light oak frame to the refined, floral character.

Bottled undiluted at 49.1%, the American oak frames the fruit with vanilla. Green apple and barley sugar over a grassy freshness.
