The Urquhart family's Gordon & MacPhail has bottled from Elgin since 1895, a Speyside institution. Filled in 1988 and bottled in 2020, the whisky is a 32 year old Linkwood, from cask 2779, from the Connoisseurs Choice range.

Matured in Oloroso, thirty-two years wrap Linkwood's fruity, slow-distilled make in the cask's character.

Bottled undiluted at 55%, sultana, walnut and spice come from the Oloroso. On the palate, chocolate, cooked fruit, dried fruit, a hay-like note, old wood, a sherried character.
