Description

Gordon & MacPhail built its name on long-aged Speyside casks from its Elgin warehouses, founded 1895. The cask was filled in 1991 and bottled in 2021, a 30 year old Linkwood, from cask 7268, in the Connoisseurs Choice range.

Held in Oloroso for thirty years, the cask works its fruit into the fragrant, grassy Linkwood character.

Bottled undiluted at 53.1%, dried fruit, nutmeg and a polished-oak depth from the sherry. The profile runs to a cooked-vegetable note.
