Gordon & MacPhail laid down casks for decades from its Elgin shop, and is now a distiller in its own right. Distilled in 1994, this 28 year old Linkwood was bottled in 2023, part of the Connoisseurs Choice series.

A turn in Oloroso over twenty-eight years folds the cask through the clean, floral house style.

At its natural 51.7%, the Oloroso works in fig, date and a dry nuttiness. The profile runs to chocolate, dried fruit, citrus, a mineral edge, new wood, a nutty note.
