Description

The Scotch Malt Whisky Society grew from a 1978 cask-sharing syndicate into the club founded in 1983 at The Vaults in Leith. Filled in 1989 and bottled in 2017, the whisky is a 28 year old Linkwood, from cask 39.160, from the Will brighten your day! range.

Twenty-eight years in the bourbon cask polish Linkwood's fresh, grassy fruitiness.

Bottled undiluted at 48.4%, light vanilla and coconut from the American oak. Green apple, hay and a soft vanilla sweetness carry it.
