Linkwood 12 Years Old

The Flora & Fauna 12 Year Old is the closest thing Linkwood has to a flagship, the one widely available official bottling from a distillery that sends almost all its make to blends. It is a textbook of the house style: light, fragrant and clean.

Linkwood earns that delicacy through clear wort, a long 75-hour fermentation and slow distillation through pear and onion-shaped stills, which build the fruity, floral esters that define it. Twelve years in ex-Bourbon add a gentle oak frame.

At 43% the spirit shows green apple and cut grass over honey and vanilla, with a hay-like, orchard-fruit lift. The benchmark Linkwood, and a Speyside classic.
