Linkwood 12 Years Old 1966 Pure Scotch Whisky (John McEwan & Co Ltd.)

John McEwan & Co, a heritage label, releases individual casks. A 12 year old Linkwood, this was distilled in 1966 and bottled in 1978.

It spent twelve years in ex-Bourbon, long enough to round the clean, floral house style.

Bottled at 43%, the bourbon cask lends vanilla and light spice. Floral, grassy and softly honeyed to the close.
