Tamosi is the rum line from Levy Lane, and this overproof blend draws molasses distillate from three classic origins, Barbados, Jamaica and Panama, then rounds it out with a finishing period in a cask that previously held Guyanese rum. Bottled at full cask strength of 60.2%, it is pitched as a confident first step up from the usual 40 to 46% range.

The Barbadian element leads, soft and creamy, with a touch of Jamaican funk underneath and the Guyana finish lending a recognisable but restrained depth rather than dominating. Aromas run to vanilla, coconut, florals and sweetness, the palate adds an oily texture with marzipan and gentle pepper, and the finish carries coconut, coffee and dried dates.
