Description

Triple Wood runs Laphroaig through three cask types in turn, ex-Bourbon, then quarter cask, then Oloroso, each adding a layer. This is an early 2008 release.

The three-stage maturation builds depth: bourbon vanilla, the quarter cask's concentration, then Oloroso's dried fruit.

At 48% the medicinal peat carries the Oloroso's fig and raisin over a layered, smoky base. An early Triple Wood.
